Località

We will set out from Can Rosal, heading south, taking the track that crosses the Llobregat over the new Orniu bridge and climbs to the sanctuary of Sant Vicenç d'Obiols. After about 500 m, we will find the rock shelter on our right, completely overgrown with vegetation.

Morfologia

The rock shelter has dimensions of 42 m in length, 7 m in depth and 6 m maximum height.

Altri dettagli

We find remains of worked stones, with wedge marks. It seems the cavity was used as a quarry to extract material for the construction of nearby works, such as the neighbouring bridges.

Storia

Although this cavity has the appearance of a rock shelter, it could be an ancient underground quarry. We do not know the true name of the cavity.
