Località

We will set out from the village of Perafita along the BP-4653 road; when we reach kilometre point 14.1, we will take a forest track that leaves on our right. We will continue for about 200 m until we reach a fork in the tracks; we will take the left-hand track, which leads to the coll de Triador. Here we will leave the car in order to continue on foot, pathless, in the direction of the rec de la Serra and, shortly afterwards, once we cross the torrent, we will find the balma del coll de Triador.

Morfologia

The rock shelter has dimensions of 31 m in length and a depth of 8 m; the maximum height is 4 m.

Idrologia

It is a very damp and shady space, owing to its orientation; right beside it runs a stream, around which a dense mass of vegetation has grown.

Progressione

From kilometre point 14.1 on the BP-4653 road, a forest track on the right leads, after about 200 m, to a fork; one must follow the left-hand track towards the coll de Triador, leave the car there and continue on foot, pathless, in the direction of the rec de la Serra; once the torrent has been crossed, the balma del coll de Triador is found.

The cavity is half hidden by the dense vegetation.

Storia

It is said that, occasionally, poor people and beggars lived in the rock shelter.
