Balma d'en Birol

To get there, from Tortellà we take the road to Sales de Llierca and continue along the paved track that crosses the Borró stream. Further on we will find on the left the start of the track leading to Can Bosc (closed with a chain). Halfway along its route, the track crosses the sot Fosc, a tributary of the Borró, and about 300 m further on it makes a sharp 90-degree bend to the right. We continue up the track until we find a path on the left (marked with yellow paint). This path is the old path from Sales to Lliurona. We will follow it downhill and thus reach the balma d'en Birol, located right beside the path.
