Descrizione

Morfologia

The 0.50-metre-diameter entrance gives access to a small pit, which leads into a boulder ramp that converges at the main chamber; just in front, the diaclase that runs the entire length of the chamber opens up.

Progressione

It is possible to continue descending at various points, but given the precarious balance of the blocks, it is advisable to descend through the first opening we find. Passing beneath the blocks, one traverses the entire diaclase, until at the end finding a widening that allows descending a 14.50-metre pit of minimal dimensions; once at the base, on the left side we will descend between blocks until crossing a crawlway that will lead us to the end of the cavity. At the opposite end, one can climb between the blocks wedged in the walls, until reaching an upper gallery that ends up closing due to its narrowness.

Altri dettagli

Currently (February 2020), 2 metres from the entrance, some wedged blocks prevent its exploration; through the blocks the continuation can be seen.

Storia

The cavity was located by Mr. Josep Castell, a regular collaborator of the SIEP of the CE Poblet, and was explored by this group in the early eighties of the last century.
