Morfologia
It is a single shaft with an 80-degree slope and 1 metre of width that is 6.5 metres deep.
Storia
The first exploration was carried out in 1973 by GEFOMA; the poor location of the cavity by the discoverers, together with the installation of electricity towers at the place where they located it, gave rise to the belief that it had disappeared.
In 2004 SIE-CEA located the Avenc del Set; comparing the difference in the survey drawing with the known cavities of the area, they reached the conclusion that it is a new cavity.
In 2019, members of the ERE of the CEC, with the data already known and new data from the archives of the CE Cervelló and of Antoni Asensio, based on the correct location of all the cavities in the area, carried out a series of surface traverses that resulted in reaching the conclusion that the Avenc Estret and the Avenc del Set are in reality the same cavity.
