Località

In the Pla de Querol (Garraf). From the Pla de Querol car park, take the track (closed with a barrier) that leads to the Campgràs and la Morella. Descrizione

Morfologia

Once past the small entrance, one enters a 40-metre vertical shaft, with a jointed appearance and smooth walls. At its bottom begins a series of vertical conduits affected by a very significant clastic process in which blocks divide the original shaft into different lateral and parallel cavities, thus reaching the point of maximum penetration at the -73 level.

(WARNING: Danger of hypoxia)

Altri dettagli

Despite its current easy access, it does not appear to be a cavity much frequented by cavers. It does not enjoy any minimally remarkable beauty, the final section is unpleasant (indeed, quite a few years ago rats had been detected) and in recent years (UME – Gavà) different tests and studies have been carried out due to a significant lack of oxygen (hypoxia). It is VERY IMPORTANT before making a visit inside to take the maximum safety measures in this respect.

Storia

Discovered on 12 May 1957 by members of the then GIE (years later SIE) of the Centre Excursionista Àliga (Barcelona) after a small clearing of the doline. They named it after the dog of one of them. In the following weeks friends from the SES of the Club Esquí Puigmal (Barcelona) took part in the exploration and made the survey.
