From the Bassot de l'Arbre, the path continues E and reaches the proper Pla de les Basses, where a first large doline is found (la Bassa) (further on we would find another, la Bassa de l'Infern). From the Bassa one must go in a SE direction until overlooking the head of a deep ravine (el Canal Negre), which must be descended along its left slope, and about 300 metres from the Bassa and about 10 metres above the ravine bed is the cavity.

Relatively near the cavity is the el Corral quarry (Uniland), but for the moment there seems to be no danger of expansion of its extraction limits. It should be remembered that where the aforementioned quarry is today, a small cavity was known: Cova del Mussol, which disappeared years ago.
