Località

Going from the Pleta towards the Pla de Querol, past the path that leads to the avenc Emili Sabaté, the road makes a small bend, first to the right and then immediately to the left. At this point you must climb up to the left of the road to a small ridge where a few years ago a telephone line with wooden poles passed. From this ridge you must descend very few metres towards the torrent dels Vinyals (a tributary of the Fondo de les Coves) until you find the small entrance of the pit.

Morfologia

Small 12 m deep pit in the Garraf. It is formed by a single 10 metre shaft followed by a short descending gallery that ends in a 4 metre high chamber.

Storia

Cavity discovered and explored by the GIE of the Club Excursionista de Gràcia in 1960, leaving only a record in a collection of activities published in the Club's bulletin, naming it avenc de les Banderes and ignoring the one known by the same name in the Garraf (Puig de l'Astor). Inside, “graffiti” by the GIE itself, the GES and the SIE are preserved.

Rediscovered in 1990 by Enric Porcel (GE Badalona) who surveyed and published it.
