Località

Start on the same route as for going to the avenc dels Aragalls. From the Pla de Querol car park, continue along the road towards la Plana Novella for a little more than 200 metres; here, on the left, there are two small esplanades and in a S direction a broad ridge begins between two torrents that descend towards the fondo de les Coves. About 300 metres from the road, on a wide and level stretch of the ridge and right in the middle of the rascler, is the avenc de l'Estrena; from this one, about 15 metres to the NE, we find the avenc de l'Esbit.

Morfologia

Small 11 m deep pit in Garraf (Sitges). Through a very small entrance one enters a narrow 10 metre shaft.

Concrezioni

The walls of the shaft are completely covered with anemolites.

Storia

Cleared and explored by members of SIRE – UEC Sants on 5 February 1967. A few metres from it and on the same day, a small fissure about 3 metres deep was opened and was named avenc del Ravioli (not catalogued).
