Avenc de Can Ramonet

Going along the track from Sitges to la Plana Novella, shortly before reaching Jafre, at a bend the access to the farmhouse of la Fassina comes out on the left and on the right there is the entrance to a path that, almost through the middle of the stream, leads to the ruins of Can Ramonet. Before that, however, on the right, the old path from Jafre to Casa Nova comes out and climbs up the left slope of the Fondo de les Llenties (its name seems to be due to the large quantity of orbitolines fossils found there). Once past a series of cultivated fields, the path turns left when passing in front of puig Ramonet a torrent can be seen flowing down towards the fondo de Can Ramonet. You must leave the path and go down to look for an old dry-stone hut among old terraced fields and about 15 metres above the stream, and very close to the hut is the pit, surrounded by a lot of vegetation that makes it difficult to locate.
