To locate ourselves in the area of les Planes del Forn de Vidre, from Ulldemolins we must go to the ermita de Sant Antoni, from where a path descends to les Cadolles Fondes; from this spot a small trail follows the river's edge and we must follow it until reaching el Bisbe, from where a path branches off to the left that climbs up the mountain until reaching les Planes del Forn de Vidre. The approximate time is 50 minutes. If we position ourselves at l'Avenc 1 de les Planes del Forn de Vidre, we must climb turning left about twenty metres to find the entrance. Fairly approximate coordinates.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The cavity has three entrances; the lowest ones are accessible without any kind of rigging being necessary. In a N direction we will find a descending gallery where we find the point of maximum depth; from here, with a small scramble, we will reach the end of the gallery. In the opposite direction, the continuation is found amid some blocks in the form of a step; a 7 metre deep pit leads us to the bottom of a small chamber full of blocks and quite broken up.

Idrologia

A little before reaching the deepest point of the cavity, in a corner there is a small fissure through which a strong air current comes out.

Progressione

Entering by opposition one accesses the bottom of the cavity.

Storia

Explored by the GELL around 1996.
