Morfologia
The entrance (0.5 m X 0.7 m) opens onto a fine shaft-fissure about ten metres deep, with well-stratified walls.
The shape of the strata (rounded underneath) and the presence of a small ravine in the extension of the cavity seem to indicate that this shaft may have functioned as a spring or overflow.
Idrologia
A slight draught coming from the bottom is noted.
Progressione
At the bottom and on the side, a dug-out squeeze gives access to a small step.
An impassable fault currently ends the cavity.
Altri dettagli
As for the aven des Montres, this cavity seems to be located above the galleries of the Puits de I'Aven, which opens about fifty metres lower down.
Assiduous work would very certainly be rewarding.
