Località

Starting from the Unagako-Putzua sinkhole, take the forest track towards the district of de Albi. At the height of Mount Ataiorbe, head West until reaching the top of that mount. The entrance of this pit is located on the North slope. Once at the summit of Mount Ataiorbe, descend about 10 m down the South slope until finding the small depression that forms the cavity.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Close to the Ataiorbe spot height and as a result of a small depression, the Ataiorbe II pit is located. Its entrance has a rectangular section 3 by 1 metres across. It has a single shaft whose bottom is choked with blocks and clay, with a slight incline.

Progressione

One metre from the bottom and along the bedding plane, a narrow gallery opens which, after a few metres of development and difficult progression, closes with no possibility of continuation.
