It is reached by the road from Lekumberri to Uitzi: 500 metres before Uitzi a cement track leaves on the left. Go up the track and, after a sharp right-hand bend, another track leaves on the left and descends to some bordas. There the car can be left, or you can continue along a dirt track that climbs on the right, just before the bordas, up to the "Campa de Urbiñete". From there, continue southwards until reaching the summit of mount IRUMUGARRIETA, situated about 400 metres in that direction, and once this point is reached, continue for another 200 metres approximately, also southwards, until the pit is found.
