Phenomenon at the bottom of a dissolution doline on Eocene calcarenites, with joints and shafts that reach 26 metres before becoming choked by debris.
Descrizione
Morfologia
The phenomenon is located at the bottom of a dissolution doline that lies on the Eocene calcarenites (Lutetian), which are arranged horizontally in this area. A first joint with an N-S direction of 4 metres connects with a second joint with an E-W direction that bifurcates into two shafts, with very polished walls; in some areas a certain tendency toward meandering is observed.
Progressione
After reaching a depth of 26 metres, the shaft is choked by a plug of debris that prevents any progression.
