Description
Morphology
Small 2-metre step at the entrance followed by an inclined plane down to a perpendicular fissure. The main passage continues as a meander and narrows. Another 2-metre step leads into a more spacious descending passage. Two side branches are accessible on the right. After a left-hand bend, the passage descends steeply to a spot where debris from digging operations has been stored. After a low passage (-19), the gallery turns right and then widens.
Other details
Entrance protected by a gate because of the danger of the cavity. Indeed, it can have very high CO2 levels from the entrance onwards: more than 5%. This carbon dioxide can rise to 8%, which is very dangerous. The cavity must be ventilated before it can be visited.
