Trou de la Palette Bleue

Descending passage to -6 m. On the right, arrival in a small chamber with 3 continuations. Opposite, a short side passage of a few metres returning towards the surface. Further right, access to a vertical fissure reaching -13 m at a very narrow fissure. On the right, a small passage reaching -11 m at a boulder choke where work is in progress. Returning to -6 m, the other part of the cavity develops. A long 30 m crawlway ends at two parallel passages that are not obvious to continue (weak air). 10 m before, on the right, a constriction precedes the only “chamber” of the cavity. Above, one reaches another well-ventilated fissure, entirely enlarged, which stops 15 m further on at a final centimetre-wide fissure.

The only “chamber” of the cavity contains a few pretty concretions.

Geology: Lochkovian limestones and lower Emsian calcschists.
