Description
Morphology
The entrance crawl opens into a gallery of variable dimensions (0.3 to 3 metres in diameter). After 50 metres, it opens into a small chamber from which the ascending passage continues to a new widening, after a constriction beneath a block.
Hydrology
The clay gallery continues to the sump, about a hundred metres from the entrance. The sump is sometimes sanded up[ref]Plongeesout.com > Foux des Baoutes : http://www.plongeesout.com/sites/roussilon-pyrenees/herault/baoutes.htm[/ref].
Progression
A downclimb in the boulder chaos allows one to regain the clay gallery.
