This pit opens through a 5.5m entrance shaft and develops into chambers and narrow passages down to a choked gallery at elevation -25.5.
Description
Morphology
Through entrance No. 1, the 5.5m entrance shaft leads to the top of a chamber 10m long, 5 wide and 6 high, on a steep slope. At the bottom of the chamber, daylight filters in from entrance No. 2 through large blocks. The chamber turns to the left and, after a low passage, one reaches a second chamber about 8 x 4m where several possibilities present themselves. On the right, a descent through blocks leads to a set of narrow passages often separated by large blocks. A constriction and a 2m step give access to a stretch of gallery 2m wide by 4 high, unfortunately choked at elevation -25.5. At the bottom of the chamber, on the left, a narrow descending joint continues as a very narrow crawl currently forced for 5m in length.
