Perte de Rambosc

The cavity begins at the bottom of a earthy doline with a fairly low gallery, its floor littered with blocks, descending toward the South. 50 m from the entrance, a low passage leads into a small chamber at -16 m, split in two by a large collapsed block. A crawlway heading East continues for 10 m then narrows. The cavity becomes more labyrinthine, the gallery sometimes splits into two or three, then resumes its N/S direction. The main gallery is blocked 20 m further on by a pinch in a narrow meander. A small conduit, on the left 5 m before, leads into a series of flat-out passages and small inactive pockets that end at -22 m at a significant narrowing.

The blocks are soon followed by old flowstone and gour pools in the process of breaking down. On the left wall, a constriction leads to a stretch of decorated gallery with a small active stream, a continuation to be enlarged.

A small stream appears as the cavity resumes its N/S direction. The main gallery is blocked 20 m further on by a pinch in a narrow meander, the water continues its way. A slight draught is felt 5 m before, on the left.

A little before the eastern crawlway, on the right, a low descending passage leads to the continuation of the cavity. At this level, on the left wall, a constriction leads to a stretch of decorated gallery with a small active stream, a continuation to be enlarged.
