Description
Morphology
The igue opens at the boundary of the Sinemurian and Carixian. Its entrance measures 1.50 m by 1.30 m. At -3 m, a small steeply sloping clay incline leads straight onto a shaft. According to E. Catala's description, this vertical shaft is 30 metres deep and 2 metres in diameter. Lower down, a vertical shaft of 50 metres has a cross-section of 6 metres by 3 metres and formed along a joint. At -90 m, the igue is choked by scree and stones from the surface. Its depth is 90 metres.

A handline leads to a 10 m drop.

A noticeable draught prevails throughout the cavity.
