Description

Morphology

Vertical entrance 3 m high, piped, 1 m in diameter. a sloping crawlway leads quickly above the meander. After a narrowing and a 3 m step up, it leads above a deep 50 cm pool, followed by a narrow half-flooded crawlway. Three metres before the pool, a shaft gives access to the upper level of the meander. The meander then continues on two levels for 25 metres to reach a junction: to the right, a fossil level with large meanders; to the left, a pit opening onto the narrow meanders of the active streamway.

Speleothems

The ceiling shows a well-marked roof channel heading towards a fissure widened in 2004 over 4 m.

Hydrology

The difficult route leads to the river coming from the perte du Batut. Downstream, an S1 (-1 m over 4 m), the "Glou-Glou" sump, blocks the way. Beyond it, the "Ya-Bon" network continues for 800 m and leads to the S2.

Progression

The narrow meanders of the active streamway were cleared in 2004-2005; this difficult route has been rigged with fixed equipment.
