Description
Morphology
The entrance (0.3 m x 0.7 m) leads to a narrow, winding crawlway formed under pressure, followed by a short slide and a shaft about ten metres deep. This shaft reaches the ceiling of a large and beautiful decorated gallery forming a bend. On one side, it is completely plugged after a short distance; on the other side, the longer gallery ends at a large clay slope, at the bottom of which are several plugged gallery branches. In the corner of the bend, a meandering gallery is quickly blocked by a stalagmitic flow.

Other details
The grotte du Squelette and the grotte de l'Enfer are in fact one and the same cavity, whose junction is completely plugged by clay. It is at the point where the gallery is completely plugged after a short distance that the junction with the grotte de l'Enfer must be located.
