The “Cheminée du Sergent” is also called “Entrée supérieure du SCAL” or “Entrée supérieure du Sergent”.
The shafts allowing access to the northern network of the Sergent are all narrow.
Hydrology
The last shaft is sometimes wet.
Progression
Time must be taken to clean the entrance of the chimney well, because many stones accumulate there and descend directly to the bottom of the first section of the chimney.
One arrives in an alcove that overlooks by 4 metres the gallery allowing the loop of the northern network to be made.
