Description
Morphology
At the foot of a small cliff, between blocks, the opening measures 1 metre by 0.50 metre, with a vertical step of 1.30 metres leading into a single chamber with a very low vault (between 0.50 metre at the start and 1.20 metres at the back). The width varies from 4 metres at the entrance to 2.50 metres at the back. The length is 14.50 metres, with a regular slope. At the back (-6m), a small stagnant pool; opposite, a very narrow impassable passage, flooded after 3 metres, visible for 5 or 6 metres.
Hydrology
After heavy rain, a large stream gushes from the cave (hence its name in Occitan: stream that flows in bad weather) and flows into the Riveillon. The origin of the water is unknown. a siphon test failed (the interior water level being slightly lower than that of the Riveillon), as did several pumping attempts.
Progression
One must crawl or drag oneself the whole time.
