Description

Morphology

Small entrance the width of a man; a descent and a fairly easy climb back up for a man of average height give access to a small bell-shaped chamber, large enough to hold at most six people standing. The continuation of the cavity is opposite the entrance, in a small hole barely wide enough to slip through crouched between the walls. Indicated length of the cavity: 19 meters; length explored during my visit: about 7 meters.

Progression

The continuation of the cavity, opposite the entrance, leads through a small hole barely wide enough to slip through crouched between the walls to an unrecorded chamber; this chamber was explored by a single person during an old expedition, and no information concerning the continuation was found in the archives. Officially, few people have managed to get through this passage due to lack of space, and I myself have not yet gotten through this passage.

History

Natural cavity dating from the Devonian period, discovered around 1881.

Bio

Because the cavity is located in the middle of a forest, the entrance is infested with spiders and mosquitoes.
