Location

From the location on Grottocenter and mapcarta (marked on maps), follow the fence uphill and keep watch on your left. The distance to cover has not been measured precisely: very approximately 200 to 300 metres and not exceeding 500 metres, i.e. 2 to 4 minutes of walking. You will notice A few holes spaced A few metres apart, which indicate that the track leading to the entrance is near. After these, A small uphill track (animal trail type) opens on your left but is clearly visible (no others before it on your way); follow it. At about 6 metres is the new entrance. A cairn has been made at the foot of the fence to mark the start of the track. It was intended to follow the fence up to reach the direct entrance onto the paved chamber, but A fallen tree completely blocks the passage.

Description

Progression

A rope on AN can be set up for safety or for beginners (rope of 7 metres minimum). Access to the réseau sud (south network): remember to rig the P7; a rope currently in place helps to climb the squeeze that reaches the top of the pit, but this is not for everyone at an inexperienced beginner level (in that case, re-rig).
