Description
Morphology
The cavity, seen from the front, appears as a small worked rock shelter about 5 metres deep. In reality, the back wall is a wall of sediments between one and two metres thick which, at its thinnest part, has a wide opening that gives access to a gallery about 10 metres long. At the end of this gallery we find a crawlway 8 metres long; at the end and on the right a narrow descending passage continues. The passage continues descending quite narrowly; we do not know whether it continues much further, since for a question of personal volume we have not been able to get past this point, but it is clear that someone has been through, since the passage has been the result of a desobstruction.
Speleothems
On the ceiling of the descending passage we find many eccentric formations.
Progression
The total length of the cave is 30 metres. The final section of the cavity has clearly been desobstructed; we do not know who carried out this desobstruction or when.
History
Known since ancient times in Camarasa. Speleologically it was visited by the GE Lleida in mid-1967; curiously they only grant it 5 metres of length, in addition to placing it on the hydrographic right of the torrent when in reality it is on the left.
