Description

Morphology

A crumbling step at the entrance leads into a descending passage of modest dimensions. A 2-metre step precedes a more vertical meandering section. This leads to the low point at -16 m. The passage then climbs for about twenty metres while widening. Another step announces another low point that can sump, followed by a flat section and a final low point. Then two large steps are climbed and one arrives in a lower gallery, cut by two water marks; then the passage climbs more steeply and ends at -3 m against a debris cone that blocks the gallery.

Hydrology

A vent is a temporary water outlet; that of Donos only works during major floods; one must nevertheless be cautious when wanting to visit it, several passages in the cavity may be full of water. The best period is therefore summer to visit it. No air at all in this cavity, certainly due to the presence of a sump beyond the terminus.

Other details

Bottom to be re-examined for a possible digging open.
