Characteristics

Location

At the Fondo del Tro (Sitges). From the C-31 road, take the turn-off that leads to Vallcarca (km 168.7). You must skirt the quarry facilities and always keep to the right, heading towards Campdàsens. The track passes under the motorway, continues parallel to it and passes under it again to continue in a steep climb. About 250 metres before reaching Campdàsens we will find Can Fontanilles. 60 metres before, a track comes out on the left which we will follow to below the pipeline, where we will leave the car. We will follow the track and leave a turn-off on the left. Shortly afterwards the track ends and we must follow a path that descends along the bottom of a streambed until reaching the fondo del Tro where we will find some cairns that will help us on the return. We will descend along the bed of the fondo and after about 250 metres, we will see the cavities easily on the left wall, about 30 metres above the torrent. We will have to climb up through the vegetation and without a path. Of the three cavities it is the one situated furthest N.
