Pobla de Segur, La • Pallars Jussà 28m 1m

A cave with 28 metres of passage in the municipality of Pobla de Segur, explored by the SIE-CEA in October 1992.

Characteristics

Location

On the N-260 road between Pobla de Segur and Gerri de la Sal, on reaching the first tunnel, we will continue along the old road until we find the ravine of the Torrent de Llabró, which is on the other side of the Noguera Pallaresa. At this point, the path descends to a cable with a basket that is used to cross the river (it is locked with a key); once on the other side, we will go back up the river for about a hundred metres and some 8 metres above it we will find the cavity.

History

Explored by the SIE-CEA in October 1992. Years earlier the SIE had already explored some cavities in the Collegats gorge, but this one was not mentioned.
