History

Although long known in the area, the first published speleological data are provided by Francesc Roma, Ferran Cardona and Jordi Vilallonga, who visited it between the autumn of 2013 and the summer of 2014. The origin of both this cavity and that of other nearby ones appears to be mining exploitation, probably of amethyst.
