Characteristics

Location

Located in the Solivent residential development in Amer, at the end of Carrer Notari Sánchez, once the asphalt ends, we will follow the path on the left towards the farmhouse of la Crossa; from there we will follow the path on the left for about 650 metres and, turning right, we will follow this path for about 65 metres, where we will turn left, continuing in a NE direction to an isolated hillock where the different entrances of the cavity open.

Description

Morphology

The cavity is structured as a network of joints that intersect within a package of sandstones. The cavity has a passage of 47.2 metres and a vertical drop of 12 metres (+3.80/-8.20).

Progression

Through an entrance located near the summit, we descend vertically into an E-W joint. If we follow the gallery in a descending direction, after a few metres we find others that cross it perpendicularly in a N-S direction, but without continuity. If we continue on the other side, we first find a small gallery on the right, and then a chimney that leads to the outside. A few metres further on, the gallery makes a turn of almost 90º to the left in a NE direction, the ceiling suddenly lowers to form a very narrow passage that continues for a few metres of straight gallery to the outside, through an entrance that opens in the middle of a small cliff.
