Description

Morphology

The cavity begins with an 8 m deep snow pit. A short meander with a constriction in the middle leads to a 2 m step and then to a new 8 m shaft. A narrow meander can be followed for about ten metres at this level before becoming impassable. Another shaft, narrow at the top, opens at the base of the last P8. The stones take a long time before touching the bottom of the shaft, which appears to be bell-shaped.
