Location

Small rock shelter in Olèrdola. From Viladellops we must go to the chapel of Sant Joan, where we can leave the car. Follow the track in a S. direction and take the first turning on the left. When the path turns towards the E, we will go down towards the bed of the torrent de les Jonqueres, from where the entrance of the rock shelter is visible.

Morphology

Small rock shelter 4 metres wide, 4 metres deep and 5 metres high.

History

Known since time immemorial. First mentioned by X. Virella in 1973 in circular no. 150 of the Agrupació Excursionista Talaia (Vilanova i la Geltrú).
