BA3a is an inclined pit cleared down to a loose ledge at -7 m, and BA3b, also cleared, leads to a small meander that turns into a 60 cm diameter shaft.
Description
Morphology
BA3a is an inclined pit whose start lies beneath a slab responsible for the entrance constriction. It widens further down to a loose ledge at -7 m. BA3b has an entrance step at the base of which a small narrow meander begins; after 2 m, this meander turns into a 60 cm diameter shaft.
Progression
For BA3a, it is possible to down-climb to a depth of 3 m; to continue, a 0.4 m constriction must be enlarged with explosives. What follows is not visible and, on the day of exploration, the draught was not obvious. BA3b has also been cleared, which allows descending to -2 m; to reach the 60 cm diameter shaft, the meander must be enlarged. On the day of exploration, a slight blowing draught was present.
