Description
Morphology
An oval entrance gives way to a shaft of -11 metres, with the base occupied by blocks and debris, among which and on the W side, a 1.50 metre hole opens where the cavity ends.
History
Although it seems to be known in the area, the first reference we have of this pit is the one provided by the ERE of the AEC in 1979, in which they explore and survey it. We update this record (January 2016) attaching an unpublished survey prior to the one known until now. Made by members of the ERE - CEC in May 1972 who named it Forat de les Bruixes. We do not know who and when it was named Avenc Elisenda, but very possibly it would be between the two previous explorations.
