Pit 8 m deep in the Morella area (Garraf), first explored in 1970 by the SIE del CE Àliga.

Characteristics

Location

From the Puig de la Morella we follow the GR-92 towards the avenc de la Morella. Before reaching it, 40 metres to the right of the path, we will see a group of light-coloured limestone blocks, which are 45 metres from the grove formed by the avenc de la Morella. The entrance is on the right-hand side and at the end of the group of limestone blocks.

Description

Morphology

Pit 8 m deep. Through the narrow 0.50x0.30 metre entrance one reaches the upper part of a -7 metre joint, which gradually narrows until it becomes impenetrable before reaching the bottom, sloping towards the NE.

History

The first exploration was carried out in 1970 by the SIE del CE Àliga.
