Description
Morphology
The entrance pit measures 18 metres. A short 3-metre climb, followed by a somewhat selective squeeze, gives access to a chimney equipped with 10 metres of height. In 08/2026, this squeeze had visibly been widened and is not at all selective. After the handrail, a P 10 widens out into a small chamber. At the bottom of the P 10, towards the south, a narrow passage then a short gallery with a 5-metre climb (metal bars, narrow exit) lead to the P 8 which breaks through the main gallery. In the opposite direction, one reaches the bottom of the last 10-metre climb, then a low gallery opens onto the 17-metre vertical drop in the middle of the cliff.
Speleothems
Two chambers are adorned with remarkable speleothems.
Hydrology
In the opposite direction, the mud lakes are avoided thanks to handrails (cables).
Progression
Through a low passage, one can go back to visit the salle des auvergnats. One can follow the main gallery northwards to narrow passages. Le retour is made by following a path that runs along the foot of the cliffs towards the west; in 08/2026, this path is partly collapsed, a dangerous passage. One quickly reaches the field through which one accessed the cavity.
