Description

Morphology

After a 10 m step made up of several ledges in the entrance doline, one reaches the start of the P 35; this is fairly large but fractioned. On a scree cone at the southeastern end, one reaches the low point of the cavity (-49 m).

To the northwest a passage rises, with two fine chimneys originating in it.

Other details

The floor of this passage is covered with a white clay; this may be what gave the Aven its name, since in Occitan "fangas" means mud.
