Morfologia
Altadill describes it as a natural hollow of no great size. The rear part gives, through a hole, onto a kind of postern where human remains appeared.
Storia
According to tradition, the image of Our Lady appeared to a shepherd in the mid-eighth century in this hollow. Later, in 1076, the walled enclosure that survives today was built, and the basilica is located there. In 1953, Institución Príncipe de Viana.
