Txaruta I. TX-1

The entrance is spectacular, 4 m on a side by 3 m wide, and continues into a fissure that gradually narrows; the cavity develops in a fissure that descends uniformly with some intercalated downclimbs. After about 300 m from the entrance, a zone of loose metric-sized blocks is reached. Climbing over the block chaos by its highest part gives access to a narrow passage beyond which a gallery with a flat floor and a height of 4 m develops, and at the end of this gallery there is a small chamber situated between two narrow passages.

The gallery situated beyond the narrow passage is rich in eccentric formations.

At the bottom of the large 60 m shaft there is a water inflow that arrives through a large flowstone and is lost following the inclination of the shaft floor.

Continuing along the gallery we come to a meander of great vertical development, where it is possible to advance both along its lower part and along the upper terraces. In the block zone two routes can be taken: we descend this chaos to find an 8 m shaft, after which, progressing through a crawl, the large 60 m shaft is reached; it is still possible to advance a few metres along a small gallery at the end of which a dig was carried out that gave access to an impassable crawl.
