Descrizione
Morfologia
The relatively narrow entrance gives access to a 6 m gallery that leads to a chamber measuring roughly 20 metres x 20 metres. The ceiling is 4 metres high. On the left side, there is a well-cleared elliptical hollow measuring roughly 1 metre x 2 metres.
Concrezioni
The walls are covered with Mondmilch that forms concretions. The ceiling is very white.
Progressione
There is no obvious continuation, except by moving the stones at the bottom of the chamber that fill the space where the ceiling and the floor meet.
Altri dettagli
In the entrance gallery, bones, charcoal and a partially burnt piece of wood are found. Towards the back of the gallery, the most numerous bones are found: femur, teeth, ribs. Scratch marks are easily spotted.
Storia
Archaeologists from the Conseil Général sampled wood charcoal. Those from the Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Genève sampled bones from at least two bears.
Note biospeleologiche
Two bats were observed at the end of October 2011; bones were sampled.
