Temporary spring in a karst at Burgui, with an initial crawlway, a small chamber 1.5 metres high and an impenetrable joint.
Descrizione
Morfologia
The karst is cut by a joint that crosses it from North to South. Mouth no. 1 of the SM1 opens in the limestone wall on the left. The temporary spring opens in a crawlway for the first two metres and presents a small chamber 1.5 metres high, where the impenetrable joint is observed.
Idrologia
The impenetrable joint is possibly where the water comes from. Some rounded clasts on the floor reveal the passage of water.
Progressione
The path is lost and one has to enter the karst. One descends the joint for about 20 metres, down-climbs a 4-metre step and mouth no. 1 of the SM1 opens in the limestone wall on the left. This mouth is passed and the joint is continued downwards. A drop is found which is skirted and descended on the left. A 1-metre step is passed and the mouth of the spring is on the left.
