Descrizione
Morfologia
The cavity begins with a vast circular opening 30 metres in diameter. A shaft followed by scree containing remains of parachuted military containers gives access to a meander occupied by a deep pool.
The meander splits into a short main branch and a longer, more recently explored “South” branch, which begins on the right-hand side when heading towards the bottom. After a severe narrowing of the joint, this branch presents two widenings known as the “East shaft” and the “South shaft”.
Idrologia
The meander is occupied by a deep pool.
Progressione
A traverse rigging of the two meanders was begun by the C.H.V. club (dissolved since the end of 2015) to verify the absence of continuation asserted in the bibliographies and following the pumping. This verification remains to be completed by exploring the meander at different levels.
Altri dettagli
Remains of a wooden platform that served for a pumping of the cavity are finishing rotting at the start of the pool.
