Descrizione
Morfologia
In the area the cueva de Sauco is not known by that name but by the name of Aunidi. It presents the formation of three galleries oriented 80 degrees E., 180 degrees S, and 190 S., the latter with a bifurcation at 260 degrees W. The cavity starts at two entrances: one on the left with N orientation, which has no development, with a small ramp and small chamber, which serves as a shelter, used since long ago by the shepherds of the area; to its right, in an E direction, it communicates with the other entrance through a narrow passage. The other entrance, the right-hand one, whose entrance has a NE orientation, begins with a ramp, is a large chamber with old formations, blackened walls, floor plates and inactive gours. To the right of the chamber a block collapse can be seen that makes its continuity impossible. In this chamber the floor and walls are blackened by possible bonfires.
Concrezioni
In the small chamber reached after the crawlway there are many formations (Speleothems): stalactites, stalagmites, columns, flowstone, banderolas and gours, also clay and sediments.
Idrologia
In the left area there is a zone of gours with water, formations and a crawlway, although it is impossible to continue because of its small dimensions.
Progressione
In the large chamber, before reaching the back on the left, there is continuity through a narrow crawlway with water of about 5 or 6 metres with formations from its beginning, bone remains are found and a small chamber with many formations is reached.
Altri dettagli
In this chamber we find the presence of bats.
