Caratteristiche

Località

From el Bruc you must go to the el Castell farmhouse and below it, on the left, you descend to the torrent. The track continues to the right and goes into some olive groves. You must go to find the path that climbs up the torrent de la Coma d'en Pastor, you keep climbing until the path turns right, at which point you must leave it and go to the left, passing in front of a block as far as the entrance of the pit.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Only pit, fairly narrow, which descends 18 metres, with small ledges found along its course. A short ramp at its base leads to the point of maximum depth.

Storia

The first references we find to this pit are from some maps made in the decade of the 1940s (Llopis, 1947) (Semir, 1950) and the first exploration seems to have been the one carried out by the GES-CMB in November 1949.

In May 1970, members of the GIESC – CM Sant Cugat rediscovered it and thought it was an unpublished cavity, naming it avenc del Senglar. Once they had explored it they realised that they had not been the first to descend.
