P-18 Brecha de Airola

It is a wide fissure perpendicular to the balcón with abundant vegetation. The fracture has a direction of 265º - 85º sexagesimal and opens a mouth of 4x11 metres. After a small drop one reaches a cone of humus debris. A steeply inclined ramp running East and 16.4 metres long leads to a horizontal platform. In a West direction from the cone there is a small side hole that gives way to a meander of 17.4 metres.

In the upper part of the horizontal platform a small recess opens, its floor covered with Moon-milk. In the meander, the floor is carpeted with tiny gours, with small gours of downward development in its first metres, and a little further on it rises gently to a ramp of concretions that closes the passage. The walls present concretion granules over red flowstone.

Water seeps through the small recess in the upper part of the platform.

A little above the recess with the Moon-milk floor, remains of a cervid skeleton were found. At the entrance of the meander a few rodent skeletons were found on a floor carpeted with small gours.
