Morfologia
During prospecting on the little-visited causse of Mayrinhac le Francal, a collapse discovered beneath a pile of brush gave access, after clearing a meander, to a chamber of comfortable dimensions. It is dimly lit by an impenetrable conduit located in the entrance shaft.
Concrezioni
The chamber features magnificent roots of respectable size. One of them, smooth, reaches, with a diameter of 70 mm, a length of more than 6 metres.
Progressione
Access to the chamber was gained after clearing a meander.

The discovery of this cavity, one of the few recorded in the area, should encourage more thorough prospecting of this neglected part of the causse de Gramat.
