Morfologia
The igue, now (2019) filled in, opened in the Upper Bathonian. According to A.Bisio, it was a pit in the rock 3 to 4 metres deep. The gallery is 0.50 to 1 metre wide; its height reaches 2 metres in places.
Idrologia
The pit gave access to a ruisseau souterrain (underground stream) that flows from East to West. Bones and deer antlers were found in the stream bed.
Progressione
The stream was followed downstream, in a gallery of small dimensions, to a low and narrow duck. The ruisseau souterrain (underground stream) was explored for about 300 metres[ref]Inventaire des cavités du Tarn-et-Garonne par l'abbé Antoine GALAN[/ref].
Altri dettagli
It was in a vineyard. Water was drawn from it to prepare Bordeaux mixture. The vineyard was uprooted long ago and the hole was filled in.
